Welcome to Urban Kolor!

 

I’m a graphic designer with over 20 years of experience specializing in vibrant and engaging designs for children. Our journey began when in 2000 I founded Papalote Paper, today Urban Kolor with a focus on crafting designs for kids and has continued to evolve, allowing us to create exclusive high-quality wall art prints and cards that bring creativity and joy to children's spaces. Our work is deeply rooted in understanding how colors impact children's development, supported by research in early childhood education, and design. Studies show that specific colors evoke particular emotions, significantly influencing our children.

 

For instance, warm colors like red and yellow can energize, while cool colors like blue and green promote calmness and focus. Additionally, thoughtful color choices can enhance learning environments and support emotional and cognitive development.

 

As parents, our personal experiences have profoundly influenced our designs. We work with a fantastic team of graphic designers who share our passion for creating designs that are not only visually captivating but also filled with warmth and affection. Together, we strive to infuse our love and care as parents into each piece.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of participating in various events and trade fairs. One of the highlights of my journey was having our designs selected for the Innovation Designs exhibit at the Paperworld Frankfurt trade show and being showcased at the Spanish Institute of Commerce.

 

Designing for children is more than just a job for us—it’s a passion that fuels our creativity every day. With the support of my talented team, we create fun, colorful wall art prints and cards that make perfect additions to any room or bedroom where children can flourish, feel inspired, and let their imaginations run wild.
